Winter Jasmine.
A shot taken at Kanyl's. I was wondering round the garden looking for inspiration/blips. I took a shot of the Winter Jasmine (Jasminum nudiflorum) thinking if I don't get anything else I will use that. The reason I was doubtful was I was sure I had blipped it very recently. When I checked I find I haven't blipped it I have taken it many times as a possible but always found something else.
This is a flower I remember from home when I was very young. I suspect because it flowered in the depths of winter and provided a nice splash of colour. Native to China I am told its chinese name translates as "the flower which welcomes spring.
