Brassed Off

I have to admit, I really wasn’t up for a rehearsal for next week’s Jazz & Sparkles this evening. It feels like our last proper day of the holidays and I’m not ready to emerge from our lovely Christmas bubble. D cooked roast beef and we ate at lunch time and had a lazy afternoon after taking down all the Christmas decorations (even the children helped!). I dragged myself out and was glad I did. Linton Jazz really are fab and us Ding Dongs seem to have got the hang of our songs at last. Hopefully it’ll all be alright on the night!
