Absent

I've been missing in action from blip for a while for a whole lot of reasons. We suffered a family bereavement that knocked my insides a little for a week or so and work as always is so busy, I felt like I didn't see daylight for a fortnight.

But I wanted to share this picture taken on a foggy day earlier this week from my office window. It sums up how I feel at the moment. I love snow and Christmas but I hate this side of winter. It's dark, dreich and gloomy and I long for some sunshine and new growth of spring. Everything seems painful and a lot of effort and it knocks the stuffing out of me.

Sorry for a dreary post but I'm sure the weather and I will turn the corner soon!
