Going, Going, Gone

A beautiful clear warm day, full of activity, good friends and family. Wow! What a wonderful thing to say!
These are not any of us jumping into the water with such abandon, but I love the energy and exuberance in this set. There is usually a ton of sea lions on the far rock, but today I think we have only cormorants. Somewhere there was a dolphin, but he didnt surface for the photos. 

After the morning walk we had waffles at home, then a chance to knit in the yard. Lots of getting up and down to do dinner prep and start cooking  the Burmese pork and pumpkin stew. My son, his girlfriend and his daughter joined ExtraDays, Mr S and me. The after dinner entertaInment was watching the new Roomba clean the dining room floor. Don't laugh until you've tried it. We do know how to have a good time here.
