Quiet Backwater

I was in the very beautiful village of Glendalough today for a meeting but before we started I had a little blip hunt for myself. Off the beaten track in a spot where the tourists never go is this quiet little backwater just upstream from a crashing weir. I went to shoot the weir but the solitude of this spot won the day. The colour version was nice enough but I prefer the mono in this instance.
I appear to be coming down with a cold or something similar. Right now my throat is burning so it's off to bed early to see if I can shake it off. See you all tomorrow.
