Roca

Oh my giddy aunt, it's cold out there. There had better be some snow when I wake up tomorrow or I'm going to be very disappointed.

Another very busy but productive day at work, then afterwards I went to see Les Misérables with lovely Parky (who made the utterly delicious almond roca pictured). I was underwhelmed and, to be honest, a bit bored. It's an impressive achievement but I wasn't terribly moved. (Well, maybe a little by Anne Hathaway's one-take performance of I Dreamed A Dream, which is pretty extraordinary.) I think middleman may have had a point when he told me, many years ago, that I was dead inside... ;-)
