Not a Photo

Popped to the National Portrait Gallery after work to see the short listed and winning entries in the BP Portrait Prize - some stunning stuff on display (and some odd things it has to be said). The hyper-realism paintings are truly amazing (though weren't my favourites), and as long as you avoid some of the pretension on the explanatory cards you can just appreciate and enjoy the art and ability.

And then there were cocktails in Bramble. Not bad after a much better day at work as well. And tomorrow is Friday...

Lunchtime I went for a wander to see if there was anything about that might make it into the BlipBigYear, but the birds were keeping hidden. Not so a nice fox making its way along the opposite side of the canal.
