THE BIRDS KNOW......

.... after a cooler day yesterday, today was a lot cooler here and we actually have had good rain this evening - just hope down South they had the same front come through as it has been enough to drench a fire!

Anyway, on the way down town called by the dam and it was like "Pitt street"! You'd reckon nature knew there was a change on the way. 
Have a look on FLICKR starting here - in particular liked the Rufous (Nankeen) Night Heron moving camp, the wing patterns and movement of it's feathers amazing.

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE - but re the fires I do believe whilst some rain fell around the worst areas not enough so let's trust that do get more as the temps due to rocket again later in the week. 

... good news another downpour as I type this.....
