Palm Springs and Joshua Tree

Love Joshua Tree NP been many times on visits to this part of the USA. Really fancied a hike so drove in from the cottonwood canyon side and headed for lost horse mine - due to recent bad weather snow and rain, drive into parking lot was closed so we had an additional walk to get to the start. Lovely to see the snow on the ground and good to gain elevation on the hike and take in the surroundings. Only a few others on the walk today including a couple who used to live in SLC, so we reminisced about Ruby’s and emigration Canyon
