Nice weather for ducks. They seem happier than I was with today's rain.

I was squeezing the water out from their bathtime adventures last week when I had an idea for a blip. This is a dip in the paving on the garden path. 

After lunch we did an essential supermarket shop.  Out of so many basic items. The rain was forecast to stop at 3pm and it did!  Driving back towards Windermere the sky brightened and the solid grey sky changed to cloud shapes. I looked at the car clock. 3.01. 

I've already broken one New Year resolution (relating to wine) and can't remember what the other was. 

Comments back on though I'm still rather occupied with other things. It seems that when one issue gets resolved another emerges.
