a marmite Christmas?!

I have mixed feelings about this year's theme for the Christmas lights in Oxford Street. The lights were sponsored by Marmite, and so the theme was set. I am more carnivore than vegetarian, so far prefer Bovril on my toast (harder to find, tastier by far). That said, you can imagine my horror to find one of my favourite Christmas things taken over by the dreaded stuff. On the bright side, Santa was portrayed as hating Marmite, turning green after his first bite of toast! I had to admire the campaign though - it fully acknowledged that you either love it or hate it; and any brand that can acknowledge that deserves some credit.
