Feynman successor?

I went to a lecture by Sean Carroll. He is a great speaker on physics and astronomy. He works at Caltech where he has Richard Feynmans old desk.
He gave a talk on the Higgs particle, then signed copies of his book, which I had for Christmas. Great book it is too.

The talk was awesome. I saw him talk on more specialised physics yesterday too - making even quantum mechanical details seem understandable - well to a certain level - I didn't follow everything. He's really a cosmologist, so coming here to talk to professors of physics about the foundations of quantum mechanics, and the Higgs - well - its impressive!

I also helped a group of us try and work out how to turn on the projector, and due to a mix up, had to stand by the door to let people in, as security were locking all the doors.
