George & Vulture Pub, London Ec3

Situated in Castle Court about 6 feet away from the Jamacia Wine House round the corner in another alley - apparently this is where Charles Dickens's Mr. Pickwick held court in the after hours during his hearing and where Dickens was said to be a regular diner - the pub comes complete with a framed cheque written by Dickens himself - actually there are several City pubs with framed cheques. It is a much more colourful pub in daylight but I was late again this morning and later going home - I hate trains I don't understand why there is constant congestion yet while the Olympics were on there was more trains yet everything ran like clockwork.

OMG no heating until Monday - I called first thing but its a busy time of year - its pretty frosty in this house lol
