Launch Party

When I got an invite to the launch evening of Hotel Chocolats' skin care range in Edinburgh a few weeks ago I was slightly dubious.

£10 for me and a friend for some free trials and a glass of fizz but I'd never been to anything like that before so I called Mrs Grieve and we booked it.

First rule of anything, be nice to the staff! We got free hand massages, tasters of about 10 different chocolates and fizz the same as anyone else. However, after befriending the staff we also got all the 'leftover' samples when each tray was finished and probably about a bottle and a half of prosecco due to numerous top ups.

In addition, we were given goody bags as we left with about £50 of full size products each!

Slightly tipsy we then went for dinner so I'm just in.

It was a great evening and I will definitely be getting in on their monthly tastings!
