Looking over to Bennachie

I've lived in Aberdeenshire since 1972 - a long, long time and thought I knew it well but since taking up blipping I've found myself on country roads I've never driven before. Today was one of these days. Instead of heading home my usual route I went looking for a different view of Bennachie, that iconic hill that dominates central Aberdeenshire. I not only found one but also discovered the monument to the Battle of Harlaw, July 24, 1411! I am really enjoying my daily blip challenge.
