Leaving Berlin

We were up reasonably early and tidies more in the flat before getting out to get to the Samsonite shop in Friedrich Strasse!
They did not have my case in the colour that was on sale!!
I had KLM approval for the sale price (310 EUR) , but not really for the full price of 439 EUR!!!
The Samsonite sales assistant was helpful and in the end we walked to the Mall of Berlin 10 min further and found a pretty similar case 20% reduced and I bought it!
Back in the Kiez we walked to the Postoffice to collect to parcels. I had not checked the letter box until yesterday!!
I am so used to get mail through the door that the letter box principle in Germany totally escaped me.
The queue was ridiculous and we decided to try again later.
Back home we continued packing, now with a case :) . and I realised the new one was smaller inside ... doh!! But I still got all in. Thanks god I was not shopping ....!
Once done we walked again to the post office and the queue was longe but much faster as all staff was back from their linch break.
With the parcels we went to the Market hall to have our last galette.
While waiting we opened the parcels. Once was from Vera with a small Stollen and a CD from her Choir!
The other was from my uncle with his old film camera with all sorts of accessories - plus some Haribo :)
The camera even got a film in still.
It will stay in Berlin.

Back home we finished packing and left the house just after 4 pm.
Flights were on time and we had time for lounge in Berlin and also in Amsterdam

We were home at 11 pm, unpacked and sat in the kitchen for a while before heading to bed.

Tomorrow we need to start a clean eating regime .... I am actually looking forward to that!!
