Snow in the shadow

Happy new year! We're back in Jill's parents' neighborhood. There is snow on the houses on the south side of the street, but it's melted on the north houses. This suburban look is so strange to me. Huge yards, big, open spaces.

Her mom yelled at Jill while I was outside for under a minute to get this photo. It's always something.
