An Unexpected Walk

Lots of different things going on today.

Taking The Mother for a routine blood test, then going to keep an appointment with the Visit Britain inspector at our holiday lodge.

I told the inspector we hadn't yet done our annual "deep clean" ready for her visit because of being very busy with the shop. She laughed and said not to worry, as we kept up well with keeping the place nice all year round!

There are a few things we know will need to be done in this quiet time of the year but at least she thinks we've upheld our standard again this year.

So back to work, then a nice lunch with The Mother and The Man followed by a refreshing walk and more work!

I got up this morning feeling the best I have done for quite a while and that feeling has lasted the entire day!
