The Wharfe at Ilkley

The start of The Dales Way in Ilkley, a long distance footpath which finishes at Bowness in the Lake District, a distance of 80miles.

Had to do a bit of shopping so popped over to Ilkley. Trawled around the charity shops without buying, had a coffee and strolled down to the river to take this photo.

The weather was a bit grim but it’s always nice just to get out and at least I managed to mostly stay dry.

Had the rest of my Lamb Curry for tea which I will no doubt regret later! ;-)
