Chinese Lanterns?

No, not quite, in fact nothing like Chinese Lanterns.
They are covers for food to stop flying insects and flies getting to food in the warmer weather. Every so often they have to be washed and this is them hanging up to dry.
You can take the net covers off but it's such a fiddle to put them back on that it's easier to wash them mantled (is that the opposite of 'dismantled HAHAHAHAHA), probably assembled is a better word.
Apart from that it's the only photograph I've taken today!
