Cherry pressing

Cheryl & Brian came over this weekend and we did some cherry pressing. Ben is kind of a mechanical genius as he re-purposed this machine that was intended to extrude clay. We put the cherries through, which broke the skins. Apples, you can just press them. But, with cherries, you have to break the skin before you press them.

Dan is a big fan of cherry juice an drinks glass after glass. The process was fun for me, but I am not a big fan of loading up juice.
