Del Rosario Vineyard

Misha was up for a visit so we went out to Palisades to visit Del Rosario Vineyards. Del Rosario bottles only estate grown grapes. To get to the winery, one drives about 10 miles down a narrow 2-lane road that is pretty much just a dead-end. The winery is situated in a coulee, a valley dug by the glacial floods during the Great Ice Age. 

Renee, the winemaker, remembered me from a previous visit. I really like his Riesling which is honey gold in color. The boys enjoyed their tasting and we brought a case home to enjoy.
