A year of living sensibly

The centre point

The world and his wife are back to work today, and whilst the traffic on my early commute was good, the traffic home late was awful.

I took this photo early morning, it’s still so dark at the moment, and it’s on the street where my mum now lives.

When I turn the corner onto this street, it’s lines always remind me of my late father.
Not because he lived on this street too, he didn’t, we moved mum here after he had passed. It reminds me of when he taught me how to draw. Pick out a centre point. The first thing he drew with me was a street scene like this, all the lines for the road, pavement and houses coming out of that centre point. He was an extremely creative man, and I get that from him thankfully. Miss him so much.
