Driving in Edinburgh has been like being in a video game. Empty compost and rubbish bins heading down the road towards you. Bags of rubbish that have spilled out of tipped over bins lying in the road.

A1 closed. Wind howling. At least the solar panels seemed to still be fixed to the roof. Afternoon indoors finalising tomorrow’s presentation.
