HAZY GOLF.....

.... we met good friends today for a lunch at the Lynwood Country Golf Club in Pitt Town just down the track a bit.

It's a really popular course, however the view today as you can see was a hazy mix of smoke and dew in the air.
After the storms giving some rain over the last couple of days the smoke has mixed with the dew and given a real weird effect. The weird part, you actually could not smell the smoke, but you sure knew it was there if out there in it for any time.

So, the fire fighters continue their massive work whilst the conditions remain as they are, to get as much containment work done. We are still expecting a 40 deg C day again on Friday with hi winds and the major fire fronts go unabated.

And, guess what happens tomorrow - yep the family finally arrive back from their "adventures" in Europe for the past 15 months. Alice and Hayley will need to acclimatise to the conditions, BUT so great to have them back.

Have a look in LARGE and when we woke this morning, could hear a magpie whistling, and found this young one posing on the back fence.
