Boarded up bank

HSBC is taking extra precaution to protect itself from the protestors. At first it was mostly mainland Chinese banks, but since it was revealed that HSBC had been withholding some of the protestor’s funds that they had raised, the protestors starting targeting HSBC branches as well!

We got to see this popular branch in Causeway Bay all boarded up.

There is so much depth to these protests that the world does not get to see and we’ve been enlightened this past week by some of our local friends. It’s extremely upsetting.

Martin and I met with an ex-colleague who’s just lost her dad. It was a difficult lunch but glad we did it as she needs to talk.

We parted ways and then did some shopping at IKEA for church stuff.
