Pigeons on the Wires of State Street

I was waiting for my carpool mate in our plan to avoid a carmageddon caused by the temporary closing of the Sellwood Bridge. Leaving work at four, I discovered the sky was blue for the first time this week. However these birds seemed to be tucked in against the cold. We still ran into traffic, but perhaps it was better than it would have been an hour later.

PS. My neighbor saw Bald Eagles above our yards today.
