I called the dogs in to "pose" for the shot so you could see the relative size of some of these plants! The progress on our backyard beautification project continues and I found myself very excited to actually see the plants that are going to be planted in our yard over the next couple of days!!

They all came delivered in a truck from the Nursery and my garden designer Ann Hall met the driver here and helped to place the plants in the yard somewhat near where they will be planted starting tomorrow. There are 2 sizes of Bird of paradise -3 large white ones (on the left) and 3 small orange ones, 3 Chinese Fan palms, a pitch apple, a little gem magnolia that already has a white bud, a wax myrtle that Ann said the birds love, 5 blueberry bushes with berries already, a pretty variegated ginger, 5 lady palms, a necklace pod, an ORANGE tree that smells heavenly, fragrant rosemary bush, wild coffee, a guava tree and probably a few more ?? It is really something.

One thing at a time, all things in succession. That which grows slowly endures.
