Beautiful Memories

It's a bit brighter today, and in Mrs BB search for cut price bedding, pillows and towels, we parked and walked into Cardiff City Centre.

The Cardiff Castle Clock tower and City Hall Clock are Welsh landmarks and ones I've seen many thousands of times over the years. This weeks Wide Wednesday has the theme 'beauty' and not only are they beautiful architecture but they hold beautiful memories. My grandparents lived by Cardiff Castle bridge and as a young kid, I lay in bed in the early 1960's and counted the chimes as Cardiff City Hall clock chimed on the hour and quarter. Beautiful memories.

After visiting my dad mid afternoon, it was back to the grey and rain as we drove home.
