The Star Inn

A lot of driving today but in a good cause. The friends, Jo and her son, who we met on our Iran trip had come to see her first grandchild near York and suggested we meet up. It would have been lovely to have them visit us but given their long drive from Penzance it only seemed fair that we make the trip to them.

Consequently I booked lunch at the Star Inn at Harome. It was quite twee inside - and out - but the food was delicious

We enjoyed wide-ranging conversation and lots of laughs. A real treat.
