A browse in the bookshop

Yesterday the weather was awful and today, although the wind had dropped a bit it was still wet ..... a walk in the park was not really an option in such wet, soggy conditions.

L and I both had check ups at the dentist this morning ..... by 9.25 we had both been scaled and polished and we headed down to the Braehead shopping centre for coffee and an indoor walk from shop to shop .... didn't reach 10,000 steps though.

We spent the longest time in Waterstones but neither of us bought anything. There is a new Peter May but it's only available in hardback .... L will request it in the library, I'll wait for the paperback edition .... no rush as I have plenty of books waiting to be read.
