Urban lighting

In an effort to reduce my consumption and reduce waste, after work I trundled to the second hand store to buy a new double duvet cover. The second hand situation in Munich is significantly worse than the UK where you can find charity shops aligning every high street. Diakatonia is the deutsch equivalent. After visiting two I found an acceptable duvet cover for a fiver.

On the way I tried to find a decent photograph, and liked these lights under the construction works at the schlachthof (slaughterhouse) in Munich. This must be one of the only cities with a cattle slaughterhouse in the middle of the city, but they need to churn out Haxerl steaks and wurst for the Oktoberfest. The stench every night is reason enough to stay vegetarian (think blood, death and excrement and you're probably still not experiencing the awfulness). You can taste it in the air and see the cattle being moved in during the day. Better to know where your food comes from I guess?
