Colinton and Craiglockhart Dells

Very first 2nd Saturday Stroll of 2020 coming up this weekend (we actually did a recce of the route a few weeks ago!) - and some further detail now follows below:

- this month's walk will be on Saturday 11th January 2020, and we're planning to keep it 'extremely' local by walking through the Colinton and Craiglockhart Dells

- meet at 10am, Saturday 11th January 2020
- to keep it simple, we'll just meet outside 32 Cowan Road, EH11 1RH

- in essence, we're planning to do a 'slightly' longer variation of this route - see: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/lothian/colinton-dell.shtml (and most likely we'll go anti-clockwise, not clockwise!)

- as usual, do bring along some food/packed-lunch etc. - but we may very well stop at the Colinton Inn (http://www.colintoninn.co.uk/) halfway round the walk, for some emergency refreshment ;-)

- we'll likely do no more than 6 miles in total, with the whole route (stops included) taking around 4-hours
- we'll finish back at 32 Cowan Road (where we started) and further tea/cake/biscuits/general refreshments will be on offer for anyone not rushing-away :-)
