Tennyson

A very cold evening tonight when I left work. I had to put some petrol in the car so when driving home I decided to park up and get a blip so that once home I could get changed and stay indoors in the warm. 
I decided to park near the Cathedral and take a few shots. This one shows the memorial of Alfred Tennyson. I have blipped it before during the day but I like the effect of this shot looking grey and weathered and the dim lighting of the Cathedral tower in the background. This was created by using the flash on the camera to light up the memorial but leaving the rest in darkness.
As I say home now tea eaten getting warm and watching football on TV
