Toivo

Toivo is a small bronze frog in Tays (Tampere University Hospital) building E. It's a part of artist Markku Salo's artwork series Stories of Water. The series has 11 different parts and they are located in different places in the building E. That building is for  dialysis patients, I photographed Toivo on the way to the building R (radiation therapy 6/25 done!). Toivo is Finnish men's name and also a word that means hope. A frog is also an excellent symbol for today's weather. It rained and rained and rained. I wonder will we have a proper winter at all?

I met my friend Pia today, we had a relaxing chat over coffee in a new cafe in Veska. The place was ok, but not too cosy.
