Designed specifically to trick the Georgian eye into missing the crude dog-leg connection of new, swoopy Regent Street with pre-existing Portland Place.
Brilliant axial planning, heavenly spire, tragic that this is Nash’s only remaining Church in London.
Take a moment....how do you create something that delicate, that high and that resistant to the elements in stonework ?
