Abstract Thursday - Patterns

The patterns revealed in this old piece of wood speak of its age, very beautiful.

In extra’s is a shot taken just before sundown with a lot of smoke in the sky from a fire to the south of Perth. As far as I can see online the fire is now under control thank goodness because seeing smoke is frightening!
