Quick moon shot

This was taken with my ‘new’ camera but without a tripod while the moon was clear and the rain hadn’t yet re-started. I was quite pleased with the result, but I will try it again with a tripod sometime. The moon isn’t often visible these days with all the cloud around, so I wanted to take the chance to snap it. It’s the first time I’ve had a camera capable of this.

We were at home group this afternoon. The rain was absolutely tipping down when we left home to go there but during the meeting the sun came out!
