Wires and Drives

My estimate of 20 hours to transfer data was massively optimistic.  In an effort to speed up the process I’ve tested the various different methods of copying data, via thunderbolt cables.  It ended up with a desk full of various drives and cables, but despite the investigation, I’m now continuing with the original method,

The morning was spent clearing more stuff from the loft.  It always make me smile, as we take up another item, with the words that ‘we might need it again someday’. Inevitably we don’t, and so a few years later we make the decision to dispose of it.  Most notable are electronic devices, which within a very few years become old technology.  We don’t even use DAB radios anymore (except in the cars).  

The day ended with a couple of hours of badminton,
