A cold start

I was in Peterborough all day with clients. Trouble was, it was so cold ( -6c ) that the windscreen washer on the car froze.

A pit stop at Blyth Services on the A1 granted me a quick snap of the sunrise through the frost laden trees.

It was quite a magical site to see every blade of grass, and every twig, coated with a thick frost, as if someone had painted the entire world white.

The drive back up in snow was not as difficult though, since the washer had defrosted a bit by then.

Weather forecast suggests were keeping this cold weather for a while, so get your thick socks on and stay warm everyone !
