Express Walk

A day of contrasts: A record was broken with today's highest temperature ever recorded of 45.8C (114.4F). And yet while I'm taking this blip a mere 6 hours after setting the record it is now 26C (79F). And its about to rain.

30 minutes ago smoke from bush fires was blowing into the Sydney CBD....2 hours later the heat haze and smoke was completely gone. The cloudy dark threatening sky's became almost completely clear. The harsh bright hot light became a deep blue dark skies. (evidence)

The cricket.....hmmm.... least said the better #$%&
The normally reliable CityRail network went to hell (heat) &%$#

A beer and salmon steak n veges for dinner...woohoo

So to today's blip. Again atoning for my tantrum of a couple of days ago so braved the weather (heat, wind, rain) the little rubber ducky featured heavily but wasn't chosen in the end. This simple cityscape photo was my choice. This is the M4 Western Distributor from the CBD. The funky yellow check / Hobbit building in the middle of the road is an iMax theatre
