Fuure In Hand

This one in Port Glasgow is by Danish artist Nina Saunders.  There is a second one at the other end of the street.

The hand is holding a boat which is a reference to the Steamship Comet which was built here.  The apple represents the fact that before it was industrialised the area was known for fruit production.
