Helping Mum

Sometimes things don't go the way you plan. The calendar said that I was due at the eye department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to have part 1 of the cataract treatment done. Got there and they said that it had been cancelled and that a new appointment had been made for mid February... :-(

Wandered over to Ns where C was and after dropping in at John and Siobahns and asda we made our way home taking Alice with us. She was good and slept most of the time before N came to collect her.

I then spoke to a drains contractor regarding a visit to look at our sewer diversion and then Thames Water re the same thing. Also texted S to confirm what I'd done and to tap him up for 50% of the costs plus permission to access his garden when the chap visits.

The Wolf Moon rose tonight looking very impressive and will be visible to all in the UK by 1920hrs.

Cold evening but dry day.
