Hanging on (FF10_2020)

Our Christmas Poinsettia is hanging on and looking relatively healthy - perhaps because it has been left to get on with it in the conservatory?

We're organising a macro and still life session for the camera club later this month and I have offered to run through focus stacking - so this is partly an experiment to find a suitable example for a demo. One thing it does illustrate is the need to clear the dust from a subject before photographing it :-)

With the bright sunshine I cleaned the car and we walked to the new cafe at the end of the village. Once a garage and petrol station, it is still with the same family and is now a themed cafe, and rather nice too.  The Pentax film camera had a run out and we took a load of redundant baby things to the church baby bank (like a food bank but for baby items ... clients have to provide their own baby!)
So much easier to get things done when the sun is shining :-)

Thanks as ever to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
