405 Los Angeles just past Getty Villa

I reckon I had 5 hours sleep after chatting with colleagues till early in the morning - didn’t engage in the poker though! Up early and in talks thru to 12.30 pm. Decided I’d ask questions in this session - hope I was literate. Lunch with my ex postdoc Glen then quickly back to room to finish drying my clothes from yesterday and pack, I needed to get the Ventura shuttle to LAX at 3 pm. Sitting on that bus I felt overwhelmingly tired, driver was very entertaining though, she was chatting to a Ventura resident about her family, one of 14! She is the youngest and clearly has an amazing work ethic - I tipped well for her. Met mark at 5.30 pm, flight to LHR leaves at 9 pm. Time for food!
