Mirror
Such a very, very long time ago my father gave me this mirror that he always had sitting on a piece of furniture in his 'Den'.
I don't know any of it's history before my dad but it's always been with me wherever I've moved to. Now it's time to let it go. It doesn't fit into my flat in either size or style (really! style, me, that's not true, mine is a hotchpotch of goodness knows what!) Anyway, it has to go now and so this is a photo to remember it by, and thank you daddy.
The day has been rather an eventful one. It started with the plan that both Donald and Luke were coming over to me at 1pm and we were going to do a 'Friends' quiz that Luke had bought.
Luke was in my car in Peebles whilst his awaits a new handbrake. He'd not long driven out of Peebles when he heard weird noises from my car and then the front tyre went flat.
Poor Luke was stuck on the road for over two hours waiting for my roadside to tow him to my Edinburgh garage because the cause of the flat tyre was the front suspension collapsing and ripping into it.
So, both him and I have no vehicle for a few days. Luckily Donald was here to take him back home, but only after we had played the Quiz. (Donald did well in it despite only recently seeing episodes for the first time and not all of them yet, either).
