Thawing ICE walk

About 30 folks braved a cold, wet Thursday to circumambulate the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland yesterday, bearing silent witness and offering compassion to those harmed by our government's policies, and offering one another support. 
It's important to look at the underlying causes that have resulted in the need for families to leave their homes and countries and risk everything in search of safety and livelihood.
We walk every second Thursday of the month from noon to one.
