Bathtime.....

I am simply l-o-v-i-n-g my mornings........coffee, out to the (nice clean!) deck sit and watch and listen.  Fabulous.  Oh - and the camera usually comes out with me too just in case.  

This morning's avian show was centred around bathtime.  One or two birds took just quick dips but Mrs T - or could it be Mr T or maybe even T Jnr.......? (At one stage there were two thrushes at the bird-bath together) - Mrs  T took 3 separate opportunities to take a dip.  She was so cute but I did feel that a soggy thrush returning for a third dip was a bit over the top on the personal hygiene front.

All deck furniture is now oiled and ready to return to full use once it's thoroughly dried.......still a bit tacky in places.  Next job will be to get nice local an to make some new canvas seats for a couple of the chairs.

Considered starting the great house wash but opted instead to do a little gardening followed by an afternoon of tennis.  It was the semi-finals of the ASB Classic which are usually pretty exciting affairs but I felt both matches today lacked some excitement for some reason.  Crowd too quiet?  Anyway, Caroline Wozniaki was knocked out by Jessica Pegula whilst Serena Williams stormed past Amanda Anisimova.  Hope the final has a bit more astmosphere tomorrow.
