Victor!

A coooooold wet day today...a rough start too as Nate really struggled to sleep last night, so this morning was a...erm...’challenge’!
From school drop off straight to Momo drop off. Thankfully the team meeting was moved from our flat to Nude - I was grateful as the flat was in no ready state! Good to see some of the guys who’ve been off the island for Christmas.
Straight to collect Nate from Momo and walk back to school (in the rain) for Asha...and straight from there to Victor’s birthday party. It was booked to be in a cafe then straight to the park, but obviously that couldn’t happen. The kids all seemed super happy staying put though! Unfortunately I got no decent pics.
Another walk in the driving rain, traffic accidents all the way home along our route. Within moments of rain starting here, the emergency service sirens start up too...the roads become ice rinks, they’re just not made for wet conditions.
Danny was home by 10! Nate was still awake and very excited to see him!!

Today I’m grateful for;
1) Hat, gloves & scarf.
2) Watching the kids, happy in their circle of friends.
3) Danny getting home safely.
