Tokyo National Museum
We had a busy day today. We started at the Museum of Science and Nature before heading to Akihabara to revel in the overwhelming bustle of anime and manga.
The boys were apoplectic with delight.
After walking until our feet hurt we headed to the Tokyo National Museum. Unbeknownst to us, the coronation thrones of the new empower and empress were on display. They were magnificent and this photo is of the costume the empress wore on that day.
Dinner was at a little cafe that only served noodles. We had to order at the vending machine then pass the tickets to the chef. All a bit bewildering for tires tourists but fun.
